It is one of the best experiences. I can tell you that my friend and I trap them in a place, and then we melee/mort the crap out of it.

I usually go to the 3x spawn because I don't really know the other too well, and if I take a blocker, its sometimes their first time to heroes, so I like to make sure I know what I'm doing.. even if there are the two priestesses on the one side.
Been to heroes at least a dozens times I believe, no deaths so far, <knock on wood>

When I went to hero's my 1st or 2nd time, My blocker and I did the double hero quest without even realizing it! That was interesting...

Lol. Hero's and DL's first time was sooo awesome.
Back in the old times hero's dropped so "special" loot.
I so badly wanted a fire sword...
It was ultra rare back in those times. I think it costed like 20k.

First DL ever dropped a RH, and that made me sooo happy.
Still i don't know why but hero's attract me with their crown sets :D
And you shouldn't solo em, it's kinda a waste.

Last hero hunt i did.. for fun with a lvl 90 freind.. was cool we were basicly having fun as i was using royal spears and the blokker was just exuring sometimes as it was so simple.. but all we got was a crown sheild on that day :/

Heroes are like, different because the only combo really is the melee + the bow & arrow, which can result in a death for a lower level in one hit, much like a dragon or a dragon lord.

How do you kill Ancient Scarabs alone at your level?

Easy =O!
I go, I get one, I use flame strike and my hailstorm rod and run far enough outside of the poison storm, where I can still hit the scarab, and its dead. If I get two its the same thing I just try and get closer to the stairs. Three is almost impossible, so I have to turn on my mana shield or else I'll die to a combo. I use light healing to heal and just antidote when I have 15+ poison.

Sometimes for fun I use the ice wave to kill the larvas and sometimes HMM to get far away larva so I don't lure out two Ancients
