Xelvar, a new dwarf, can be found in the temple district of Kazordoon. Players with level 80 or higher get the chance to enter the near teleport to the new gnome base.

The first stage is a hub, where teleporters from several cities can be found. In order to use those teleporters you need a teleport crystal in your backpack.

In the main gnome area you have the chance to become a recruit of the gnomes by starting the main quest. You will have to pass several tests. The gnome NPCs will guide you through this process.

After successfully becoming a recruit you can start the mission system to gain your gnome reputation and rank. Talk to Commander Stone and Gnomeral to get daily missions. You can also buy and change tokens for more reputation.

If you reach the highest rank you are able to set foot in the challenge dungeons. They are three in number and have to be done one after another. Each dungeon needs a special tactic in order to open the boss room at its end. You will gain the right to open a reward chest if you helped fighting the boss.

New Houses

The content team implemented the ten houses of the winners of the Dream House Contest! Everyone of you will be able to view the following estates (just open the door and have a look):

  • The Lair (Venore) - in the swamp south-east of the city
  • Caveman Shelter (Farmine) - in the mountains north-west of the Zao Steppe
  • Open-Air Theatre (Thais) - west of the city, near the path to the Lighthouse
  • Hare's Den (Kazordoon) - near the Outlaw Camp
  • The Yeah Beach Project (Liberty Bay) - easy to find ;-)
  • Mammoth Bone House (Svargrond) - south of the city
  • Lost Cavern (Kazordoon) - in the mountains between Carlin and Ab'Dendriel
  • Old Sanctuary of God King Qjell (Gray Beach) - in one of the little caves are some new stairs
  • The Eastern House of Tranquility (Farmine) - north-east of Razzachai on a little island
  • Low Waters Observatory (Ankrahmun) - east of the city

This update will bring you three new Mini World Changes! As with the other Mini World Changes those will trigger more or less randomly but we will activate each one at least once during the testing phase. A login message will inform you about which one is online then.

Warpath

From time to time those pesky orcs will build a warcamp near certain cities. Will you be able to defeat them and their infamous leader?

Spider Nest

Sometimes an unusual giant spider will build a nest somewhere near Venore. You can't let it do that, right?

Devovorga's Essence

You still have those tentacle pieces but miss some of the achievements from the Rise of Devovorga world quest? Now you are able to kill Anmothra, Chikhaton, Irahsae, Phrodomo and Teneshpar and get the fame that you deserve.

First you have to find an energy portal that appears from time to time. Only those with tentacle pieces can enter that portal and will be able to get the right to defeat Devovorga's incarnations. But beware! You have to fight them alone! Be prepared!

Offline Training

Each major city in Tibia now features 5 offline training statues. If you use the statues you will log out (similar to the use of a bed).

If you stay offline for more then 10 minutes, you will be rewarded with advancement in a specific skill. The skills you can train are:
  • Sword Fighting/Club Fighting/Axe Fighting
  • Distance Fighting
  • Magic Level

The effectiveness of the online training will be determined by your vocation. Knights will most effectively skill with Sword Fighting Club Fighting/Axe Fighting. Paladins will most effectively skill with Distance Fighting and Mages will most effectively skill their Magic Level. As you do not need any mana to train your Magic Level while you are offline, the rate of offline skilling is decreased in comparison to the other skills.

By using any of the mentioned offline training options, your Shielding will also increase (the effectiveness is also determined by your vocation).

The offline training statues can only be used by premium account players. However, if you start offline training by using the statue and lose your premium status during your offline time, you will still be given your skill advancement.

The maximum amount of time to train is 12 hours. If you exceed this time no more skill advancement will be awarded. However, if that's the case your character will start regenerating offline training time, similar to stamina.

This means: If a player logged out at an offline training statue and logs in exactly 24 hours later, he/she will have trained for 12 hours and then have regenerated for 12 hours, which means he/she could restart training for 12 hours more.

Further Changes, Bugfixes

To address some old game weaknesses, we have implemented some technical changes:

Anti House Trashing

With the coming update it will be impossible for random players to trash houses. Only the owner, the subowners and guests will be able to throw items on a house field. However, please note that this does not apply for parts of your house which are no house fields (such as roofs).

Extended Killer List

In the past, a killed monster distributed its experience and rewards only to a maximum of 20 players. This had some unwanted consequences as the decision who enters and leaves this killer list was very random and not clear to players. This maximum has been removed, so in the future everyone who hit a monster should be rewarded with experience and potential other rewards (e. g. the mutated pumpkin). However, this should not have any influence to the maximum of 20 player killers.

In the warzone killing the boss Deathstrike with some help Unfortunatly the whole test server crashes as soon as the boss dies, nobody knows loot



I was just lucky to be there, right place right time

Fancy video, good work! I liked the intro very much.

Just one little advice, try to use non-copyrighted music as in some countries (e. g. Germany) youtube videos get locked and the tibians won't be able to watch it

I came home 2 days ago so I haven't been able to test things out. I'm most interested in the offline training system, so I will focus on that!

I wonder and desperately hope that they will change the wall graphics because otherwise I'll be forved to wear a thick helmet non-stop running into walls thinking they area floor!

I tried out the offline training system on different characters.

PS. If you cba reading exactly how I did my testing you may scroll down and just look at "conclusion"

Level 90 elite knight, carrying the avenger (no shield):


Sword fighting +7,93% [Info: In-game a raise of 8% at sword fighting skill 93 would have taken about 6 hours instead of 12 hours]

Shielding +3,96% [Info: In-game a raise of 4% at shielding skill 93 would have taken about 3 hours instead of 12 hours]




Level 7 paladin, carrying spears (no shield):


Distance fighting +475,59% (4 full advances plus an additional 75,59%) [Info: In-game a raise from distance fighting 51 with 92% left to distance fighting 55 with 17% left would have taken about 2,5 hours instead of 12 hours, (if having the maximum blood hit/spark hit percentage - which may be hard to get)]

Shielding +773,11% (7 full advances plus an additional 73,11%) [Info: In-game a raise from shielding skill 34 with 95% left to shielding skill 42 with 21% left would have taken about 3 hours instead of 12 hours]





Level 8 knight, carrying a daramanian mace and a steel shield:


Club fighting + ~29 full advances [Info: In-game a raise from club fighting 13 with 6% left to club fighting 42 with 8% left would have taken about 6 hours instead of 12 hours]

Shielding + ~22 full advances [Info: In-game a raise from shielding skill 14 with 86% left to shielding skill 36 with 69% left would have taken about 3 hours instead of 12 hours]





Level 22 sorcerer (non-promoted), carrying a dwarven shield:


Magic level +173,28% (1 full advance plus an additional 73,28%) [Info: In-game a raise from magic level 21 with 82% left to magic level 22 with 9% left, by eating food and casting spells, would have taken about 8 hours instead of 12 hours]

Shielding +229,83% (2 full advances plus an additional 29,83%) [Info: In-game a raise from shielding skill 18 with 23% left to shielding skill 21 with 93% left would have taken about 3 hours instead of 12 hours]

Conclusion:
Melee fighting advance at a rate of 50%
Shielding advance at a rate of 25%
Distance fighting advance at a rate of 25%*
Magic level advance at a rate of 75%**
It doesn't matter if you are wearing a shield or not

*There is no accurate distance training calculator. According to pskonejott, offline distance fighting training would advance at a rate of ~21% (2,5/12) compared to in-game training if having the maximum blood hit/spark hit percentage (100%). Although I believe, when looking at what rate melee fighting and shielding is advancing at, that distance fighting for real advance at a rate of 25%, compared to in-game 100% blood/spark hit training (eg. dummies).

**I calculated this by looking at a mana table how much mana that was needed from magic level 21 with 82% left to magic level 22 with 9% left, then took the amount of mana and transformed it into seconds and multiplied it by 1/3 (since non-promoted mages regenerate 2 mana each 3 seconds).
Before I know if this is correct (it seems a little bit too good for me), I will have to check out the offline magic level training on a promoted mage and compare the two.



Offline training table (knight) - when training 12 hours a day:



Offline magic level and distance fighting training will be added once I have the accurate rates :-)
